new york city ribbons and lightings for ovarian cancer 2025
Event details
In person event

It’s National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and on Saturday, September 20th, we’re turning New York City teal for ovarian cancer awareness! We’ll start in Brooklyn at 10:00am with ribbons! In collaboration with Turn the Towns Teal™, we will be tying teal ribbons to trees with our amazing volunteers in partnership with the 5th Avenue Bid, Myrtle Avenue Bid, and North Flatbush Avenue Bid.

Then at sundown, we’ll be continuing our tradition of lighting the Luna Park Parachute Jump in Coney Island the color teal, with the word “TEAL” displayed on it at sundown. At the same time, we’ll also be lighting New York City Hall, Brooklyn Borough Hall, and the Municipal Building the color teal. Stop by to see it for yourself, take a photo and tag @TellEveryAmazingLady!
