Ovarian cancer is one of the most deadly cancers a woman can experience in her life. I wanted to run for Tell Every Amazing Lady® to share information about symptoms, encourage women to talk to their doctor, and raise awareness about women’s health and reproductive cancers.
Losing a great-aunt years ago to ovarian cancer and seeing other women battle this horrible disease motivates me to do my best I can to support research, advocacy, and survivors across all 13.1 miles. I’m honored and grateful to be running the Philadelphia Dietz and Watson Half Marathon on behalf of Tell Every Amazing Lady®. I hope that one day, there will not only be a cure for every cancer but, there will be proper ovarian cancer screening- as well as more research and funding for women’s healthcare. Together we can make a huge difference, and I’m so grateful to be part of that change. Donate to Regina’s run here.
