Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity at South University in Savannah, Georgia, hosted its annual Penny War competition from July 30 through August 18 2025. The friendly rivalry pitted the Pharmacy Class of 2026 against the Pharmacy Class of 2028, with each class competing to raise funds for Tell Every Amazing Lady®.
Students contributed pennies and dollar bills to their own class container to increase their total, while adding silver coins to the opposing class’s container to decrease their score. The stakes were lighthearted yet spirited—the losing class’s advisor was required to wear a squirrel costume, while the winning class claimed bragging rights.
For the third consecutive year, the Class of 2026 emerged victorious, ensuring their advisor was spared the costume. Together, the classes raised an impressive $762.16 in support of Tell Every Amazing Lady® demonstrating both school spirit and a shared commitment to philanthropy.
